Shipping Info
BFA Foodservice ships your merchandise via UPS or FedEx Ground, if the packages meet their respective size and weight guidelines. If not, common carriers are used. Common carriers do not have lift gates on their vehicles unless requested and paid for. You, the customer, are responsible for unloading your merchandise.
Common carrier drivers are NOT responsible for unloading the customer’s items, getting them down to the street or bringing them inside the building.
When you, the customer, receive a common carrier delivery, make sure you verify the number of cartons received and unpack & inspect each carton for damages. If there is ANY damage, you, the customer, MUST note this on your signed delivery copy.
If you, the customer, sign for the merchandise without any notations about damages, and you find damage after the driver leaves, you have severely limited your right to file any claims.
If you, the customer, find damages, you must save all packing materials, immediately notify the carrier and file a freight claim. BFA Foodservice will assist you as best we can, but the freight carrier is liable and not BFA Foodservice.
Return Policy
All sales are final. If you wish to return an item, you will receive a merchandise credit for the goods only, less a 25% restocking charge and a charge for return freight.
All returns must be unused, in its original carton or packaging, with all paperwork included. If you feel a product is defective, please contact the manufacturer’s service department. Phone numbers for each manufacturer’s service department are available upon request.
